Canberra English Session with Jackie Luke

Canberra English Session with Jackie Luke

The Canberra English Session meets fortnightly at Smith’s Alternative to play the very best of English traditional music. Jigs, polkas and 3/2 hornpipes share the menu with airs, waltzes and those mysterious maggots. The repertoire spans the United Kingdom and includes contemporary tunes that now sit firmly within the tradition. Join Jackie Luke and the session musicians for a tune or two and plenty of good cheer.
